The Optimist Club of Arcola was formed 26 years ago to serve the youth of the area.  We currently have 30 members that work on projects such as the community calendar, MacMurray Theatre and our major community fundraiser, the 16th Annual Snowmobile Rally We gathered on Friday night to get ready for the 2008 Rally. 25th Anniversary Last April we celebrated 25 years of Optimism in Arcola. We presented plaques to 6 charter members and presented honourary Life memberships to Murray McMillan and Murray McKinnon.
